Your first landing

So, when Horizons arrives what ship will you undertake your first planetary landing in?

For me, I'm going to do it in my trusty Cobra mk3. I figured that it's got good thrusters plus if it all goes pear-shaped and I leave a Cobra-sized crater on the planet surface, the rebut cost is relatively low.

I'm going to try no docking computer using a cutter shieldless and over 700 tons of cargo, because people challenged it via a type 9 but I gotta do it in style :D

Yep, going all out then! I won't use a docking computer - never had one and don't plan starting now.

My ol' trusty Cobra - somewhere in Sol. I'll ditch the auto-repair module temporarily for the hanger. I realise the irony of having a galaxy to explore, and the first thing you want to do is head 'home'... But obviously our own system has a sentimental appeal, so my first flight into Sol will also include my first landing.

Type 6 because I like how it looks from outside and it's got good cockpit views.
Really? Huh, wouldn't have thought anyone likes its exterior - it's like a big flying brick. ;-)
