Either we're talking about the same long window or there were two of them. One was stopped by the release of 2.0, and people did receive refunds up until this deadline, when it was stated that the significant part of the game has been released.

I'd love to get a refund on this car crash, heres the rub though. I cannot be f@#$ing bothered arguing with CIG customer "services" about whether I can qualify or not. I spent £200 on this in 2013 and while I don't need that money its beyond irritation to think that Roberts and co have it and will put me through the grater to hold on to it. So I've rationalised the money by thinking that its helped regenerate the genre and better more competent more professional more effectively managed and more trustworthy companies will produce better game project than this con artists wet dream. 115 million dollars and nothing to show for it except a complete mess or product that is unlikely to ever amount to anything.
I hope their 2015 accounts are more of an entertaining read.
Nobody is stopping you, from giving your money to any company you want, and have fun with their games. Go have fun instead of being full of anger about one videogame, the point of games is having fun.![]()
I was going to react "poorly" to this obtuse advice and give you some equally obtuse advice in return but ill not bother. I have the right to be upset as a customer about regretting giving money in good faith to a company like CIG. I wish someone had stopped me giving that money at the time. Instead I'm happily telling other people on other forums and real life about my experiences with this rubbish to save them the trouble. The project is a disgrace but at least its kickstarted more effective and competent interest in developing the genre.
Your defense of this car crash is beyond ridiculous.

You are upset, you have the right to be angry and have your own reasons. I like Star Citizen, i'm able to having fun while playing it, bugs and all included, witch is the point i buy games for (entertainment value products), and i like the direction it is taking. As you are entitled to your views and opinions, so am i to mines. It's nothing but a video-game at the end of the day, and i hope you have most fun whatever games you end up playing, as, that's the whole point.
Now don't ask me to agree with blown out of proportion dramatization, to make anything look as bad as it possibly can, because i won't. I firmly refuse it.
Well said Sir....but hey isn't that's possiblly exact reason why he is upset???...maybe he can't find it FUN to play that twitchy mess....
It's not just a matter of taste... It's objectively broken.
Max...
Unbelievable. You really are.![]()
I can play it, and i can have fun with it. If you don't, well, i'm sorry for you! Star Citizen will not please everyone, it just can't, the FM might be the deal maker or breaker for you, it isn't for me, it can play it like that, it can play like ED, i work with both. Opinions vary a lot, your right ends up being someone else's wrong, and as i am quite neutral on that aspect, i just watch from the distance 2 trains going on the same track on opposite directions that can't agree with each other, while some of team live on an ocean of salt because the devs have chosen their path.
By that logic we could have put Frontier on court, because they dropped the Offline Mode and it was promised.
It's nothing but details, such happens constantly around games, how can such things even stand on court? Maybe on Derek Smart's imaginary court cases and FTC investigations that were supposedly already ongoing.![]()
