I'm returning after a long hiatus to celebrate a semester accomplished.

Whats a good way to rank up in the empire? I'm currently at count.
and anyone want to part with some trade info on slaves? It'd save me some trips checking out my old routes

Robigo runs for the next 2 days plus donations and all non-bugged Missions (not the multis). Some Assassinations for big payouts are good % rates too.

Great way to rank up with the Feds, but not the Empire.

OP, charity missions for the empire seem to be in short supply these days. Your best bet is the classified transport missions. The higher the payout, the more rank you'll get. I also had great luck flying down to Fehu with a python, and picking up shadow missions that go to outposts, as they will not scan you while landing. Set it up for cargo as well and accept the cargo missions that have the empire symbol. At baron, I could average about 30% rank per Fehu trip.

sweet. Fehu, stilll works then. Does the switching between solo/multi still work?
A little frustrating that I left the game almost 5 months ago and fehu is still the best way to rank

Switching between any to Group Mode works.

It doesn't seem to make a difference. Switching between stations doesn't offer new missions, so go to one and take em all.

Edit: this is just for Fehu

Hey FudePoof! Long time no see! You have been on a long hiatus! The best place I was using was Cubeo, and doing charity missions and long range classified delivery missions.

Well, a massive game changing update is coming out in a couple of days, and then Horizons is coming out on June 3rd.

This sounds too good to be true! Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

i never had luck in Cubeo, i moved on.. some small systems nearby got some nice missions.. But soon, when 1.6 is released the whole mission structure will we different anyway. Im going to wait out those couple of days, see what happens after the patch.

Aye, I've had most luck with Lambda-2 Tucanae so far. Almost done with Viscount, will probably ease off a bit once I hit Count and wait for the update too.

I did the mode switch in Fehu and it netted me about another 2-3 viable missions.

I actually had more luck with Quince, which is farther in the opposite direction as Fehu but (and this was a surprise bonus) alot of the courier/smuggling missions got me rank for both Empire and Federation as most of the destinations are well within Federal space. I just finished my Rank to Duke this long weekend and I am glad it is over for the foreseeable future. Good luck commanders! O7

I went from 30% VC to 95%, but thats because I got lucky in Cubeo with some donation missions that popped up. Made the most of em for that cheeky extra 20% then moved on when they stopped popping up.
