News 1.6 languages info - PC and Xbox

Hey guys,

Just a quick update to let you know about some info regarding translated languages of Elite Dangerous.

We recently announced that 1.6 will be adding additional languages for Xbox one Commanders. However, unfortunately this will not be added in today's update. The plan is to add Spanish which is a community translated version with the other languages and this will be added within the next month or so.

In addition with the volume of content being added into 1.6, there will be some minor discrepancies with translated languages on all platforms. These are already being addressed and worked on and we expect to see a fix for these ASAP.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

I would just like to say a huge well done and thank you to all the amazing Spanish community members that help support the translated Spanish version and we're looking forward to adding that to Xbox in the near future.

Yes. But 1.6 was the specific update for Xbox One (Because Horizons is coming next week).

Could you please give me status on my "Mega German Bug Report"? It has had 100+ issues and would like to know if I can await all of them to be corrected?

Thanks a lot again for compiling this amazing bug report, we truly appreciate all this feedback
All of the fixes should be included in the upcoming language update mentioned by Zac.

Last update is the language one and the one after that was the CG one 6 days ago.

Ahh I hear you. I thought you meant to tell players about the languages stuff!

We will be posting Horizons soon, but not today. Right now the focus is on the server downtime and 1.6.
