Brace yourselves...

David Braben is doing an AMA on Reddit and was asked a question about CMDRs running missions from Jaques station, to which he replied...

"There are rumours just coming in that Jacques hasn't arrived..."

Winter is coming.

(I love this, not knowing quite how crazy it will get, I like to think that CMDRs will stumble upon the station randomly when exploring or find "bits" of it! This is what I want in ED)

Ok, I mean seriously, there has to be a reason why no one has done it before from a technical standpoint. There's no telling if he would even land at the right system, let alone make it that far in one jump.

the station pilot wasn't human right?

It was a cyborg, or AI?

I think this is much deeper and much more complicated then just.... "Aliens"

Cyborg from what I understand, and I agree. There's no telling what's waiting out there in the dark spaces between the stars, nor in the dark hearts of men.

I think I would have been more surprised if it made the trip as opposed to it disappearing like every other ship in the news.

Edit: Apparently it's just going to take a week.

Using the repair cost of my Cutter every time I jump or fly in supercruise as an example... there would be bits falling off that station quicker than a second hand Honda Civic...maybe they should have just dragged a few magnets behind it?
