Engineers No known engineers

Anyone else seeing no known engineers in the view engineers tab, even after invites?

You have to actually go to them I think.

Systems Panel > Status tab (Press 4 on keyboard) select Engineers tab at the bottom.

Heh, I deleted all my invite messages once I read them, then went to the Engineering tab and it was blank, and I thought "oh dear did I just..."

Checks galaxy map; no engineers.... Oh dear....

But it has populated now lol

Same here.

It helped to exit and restart the game after I confirmed (=deleted) the mail. Probably, simply jumping would have helped, too.

I don't see anything on my panel for them. Does it only show up with Horizons (ED 1.6 only for me atm)?

That's correct. The Engineers is a Horizon's-only feature.

Edit: Horizon's is currently selling for £19.99 / €24.99 / $29.99. If you can, get it before the price goes back to full.

Also, if you have invites from Engineers, there should be a pink symbol on the galaxy map indicating where they are. You may need to slowly scroll zoom the map out a little to see the markers.

Yup, when I first got the invites, I got the markers, but not the engineers tab populated. I needed to do a system jump for the servers to catch up and get me the detail list. Then again, the servers were struggling back then, so could have been a networking glitch.

Ditto here. When I first started the game I had invites but no markers on galaxy map and nothing in Engineer's tab. I was landed on a planet surface at the time. Once I'd gotten into Supercruise both these problems disappeared.
