Engineers I want a button....

That says ' I realize I suck. With the new patch and AI 'improvements', my combat rank is zero. I want to make my rank zero, without losing all my cash.' Then I can slowly make my way up and 'improve' my skillz like all the other 3lli3t people who insist that the Ai is 'awesome'. This way I can eventually say to myself the AI is 'awesome', because I really eventually earned my rank in the new system.

Amen.

I feel your pain... recently got into a FDL kitted-out and square off point blank with a Asp Scout that seemed like a Python taking my 835 worth of shield down in record time and was getting through my hull fairly fast... before I fled, I thought I saw the Incredible Hulk through the glass of the cockpit, which put things into perspective. :D

Anyway, hang in there... I heard that there's an update coming on the 3rd from another thread.

In the meantime, another gent posted that he down-graded to a smaller ship and spawns seemed a little less hulk-ish. I'm in the process of testing that theory if I can just find some class-3 bi-weave shields... have come up empty using Rougey's finder even on one that was reported just 2 days ago. :S


Edit... Well... tested that theory and with my lesser ship (DB Scout), lesser ships were spawned when interdicted, but they still cleaned my clock. :(


Just curious... are you playing version 1.6 (not the Horizons expansion)?

What I really need is a button that does away with those stupid unlock requirements for Engineers, or at least gives us more options to unlock them with. I've been a bounty hunter & mercenary 50% and simple legal goods trader 50% of the time, I don't wanna do illegal goods trading in black markets or go off exploring.

Clear your save. Don't worry. If you know what's what, you can get the money back real quick. ;)
I do it regularly and it's refreshing and fun.
