Elite / Frontier Need a download

hi im new to this forum, I used to play Elite all the time, but with the pcs we have getting alot better than the game itselm i havent played for some time.

i have all the elites for PC but as we all know disks do not last forever.

it would be nice if anybody has the cd version of Firstenc or copys of the Floppys. Disk one is perfect also disk 3 but disk 2 has a little problem, a read error.
I know theres a licence change and the shareware version out there, but i like the GAMETEK version and dont think anybody should be expected to pay for it again.


I have noticed that alot of you have mods and so on for elite firstenc

i got elite on the BBC 5inch floppy, now that wa good
elite on the Atari ST after you got past the thargoids lol
deadly on frontier and mostly harmless on firstenc.

i havent been able to play it for so long, when i got back to playing it the floppys bust


would love to see the new elite 4, but the last contact with the powers that be and there date given to me was close to 2010 before they were going to deliver it. but 2008 is ok.


will not take me long to get my equipment as i still have my saves. but would like to find the original game files again

its not hard to get them on floppy, I could download the lot onto one dvd, as all the elite games for every computer is on the net and avalible to download as long as you have the emulator to use the program.

I like First Enc because its a nice game and not because theres many mods for it.
I asked if anybody has the GameTek floppy disks so i can replace disk 2 with the correct files, as i do not want the later one due to the licence being shareware when clearly i shouldt need it.


has anybody got disk 2 then can put up for me?
