Horizons Donations at Stations for Rep Gain.

Before 2.1 when I was in a station and they needed money for charity or station repairs the amounts were all below around 25,000 and less. Now whenever I see a plea for help the numbers are 300,000 to 450,000. Many of the missions offered to me also seem to pay less in cash. Is it just that I'm in a different part of space or did something change?

I have noticed this too maybe its to stop boosting rank.

Dam it was going to go back to TUN and finish off ranking up on Fed's for the Corvette ;-(

Yep, previously it would cost you around 10mil to buy your rank up to rear admiral. Now I think you'll be looking at a few 100s of millions to do the same.

I would expect that with all the changes, tougher AI, higher costs and lower mission rewards new players are going to get frustrated pretty quick and not play. I'm fairly new and I'm a little disappointed in how much harder the game is now, although I will keep grinding away. I'm just glad that it isn't a real actual cash sink to play.
