No one want's this thread closed, this lasts 2 days have been the best for the last 2 months. Much more balanced game discussion instead of the usual bitterness and hate, less poppy cutters and more game lover's now. All thanks to Dmsart without him I would never post here.

How does this apply?

CR has not achieved anything, game is years behind and junk, does not seem to have any talents (well other then promising anything in order to make a buck), and is not distinguished or elevated above his peers, in fact he is the opposite.

Despite what the desperate defenders would like you to believe, sometimes bad code is just bad code.

You had more game discussion in the last 3/4 pages than in the rest of the whole month, go check it, I sure did. Past pages are worthy of SA forum finest, most of the rhetoric is copy paste from sc thread over there. just poppy cutters envy and hate galore. talking about games with real gamers is much better.

lol i know the reference is from a crappy youtube video. But again, you keep using that word out of its context. Almost like you don't understand what the word means. That is why I posted the meaning of that colloquialism, so you could learn how to actually apply it correctly.

Perhaps its because you learned it form a video that misuses the term, but any case, you should look something up before just excepting it from a video. Lesson that can be applied to videos CIG produces as well.

They gave access to the PTU to the newsletter subscribers in the second wave. Then some folks figured out that if you subscribed, you got a PTU invite. But it's not like CIG advertised this behavior, nor is it known if it was intended to work that way.

I'll hand that one to you though, I'm not real happy about how that played out either.

As for aUEC and the respawn timer, CIG has clearly outlined how ship destruction and insurance would work in the past, and this is not it.

Settle down there champ, I was referring to the people you described that are concern trolling on the SC forums, not specifically you. Nobody is trying to take your freedom. That said, I respect your veterancy on this forum, but it doesn't make my own opinions any less valid.

The arrival of anti-Smart brigade didn't bring any more real discussion to what was already there, though, just obscured it with pointless spam, namecalling, the arguments about meaning of the word 'bug' and by socks.

Edit: And that's all I'm going to say about that topic.
