So, what have you learned this weekend?

For me:

  1. Submit. Boost. Chaff. Pray. 4 Pips to SYS. Boost. Pray. FSD Cooldown over? I'm on my way!
  2. RUN AWAY FROM EVERYTHING! Even the station's weapons and four Cops had trouble killing a DBS NPC which I'd laid a trap for!
  3. Those auto-PA's with next-gen cooling systems look sweet! Where can I get one of those? Are they only for NPCs? :p
  4. I've made millions of credits from haulage jobs. As it should be for an Elite Trader.
  5. Those Elite, Dangerous and Deadly NPCs have killed off every other NPC with a lower rank which would have indicted me. In space, only the strong survive, even among NPCs. The likes of Pirate Masters are now an endangered species, probably heading out the bubble in order to survive.
  6. Hi Mr. Imperial Faction....you're going to give me some stuff as a partial reward for this mission? Nice......you wouldn't have a spare cupboard where I can put those 4 tons of stuff do you? .....Storage? LOL, I don't have any of that!

I almost totally agree with point 1 except in an Anaconda it is boost, boost, boost ...... aw      he is right behind me and hammering me with rails. I hope my FSD lasts long enough to get me out of here;
and as for making money umm nope. I have actually lost a lot in hull repairs and to be honest I am not really enjoying it.

Nothing much, other than that it's probably best to wait a few days playing a game after a major update.
Then again, i pretty much knew that before. ;)

How to waste your time playing a game only to have all progress wasted due to the unwarranted out of context AI attacks. Not wasting anymore with this game for a while. To think it only took a few days to rediscover that aspect and how it's still just a arcade gimmick.

I learned that the phrase o7 is now officially recognised in game lore. If you didn't know, o7 represents a stylised salute and is sometimes used to acknowledge other players. I took off from a planetary base and the ATC said 'oh seven , commander' as I left

I learned that my dear Corvette can handle two Elite npc Anacondas even post 2.1 if I do my stuff right, and that I can sweat a lot more through the palms of my hands than I thought.

Thats actualy realy cool and immersive.
I wish FD would give us more of the lore. there is so much of it , yet the hide it away.
When david is on stream he talks about it and stops because he is scared we would be bored... I want to hear more stories about the lore

I learned to be just as suspicious of solid squares as I was of hollow squares.

I learned to fit and use SCBs.

I learned that a collector controller and some limpets is almost always worth carrying.

I learned to be a better pilot.
