Engineers Elite:Korean grindfest

First of all sorry for my English.

I really really really really really HATE Korean-like grind-fest timekillers.

I prefers play game like explorer and I simply don't have time to grind through hundreds of hours of gameplay to get new and shiny ships and upgrades.

Now Grindgineers update made game unplayable for me.

Then don't grind, or play another game?

if you like to explore than explore?! Nobody Forces noone to grind... there is Content now and People want it on a silver platter without doing anything for it?! I dont get some People?
I win button is what most want nowaday.. they want nothing to achieve they want it to be as simple as possible and as fast as possible!

If game Designers would tailer games for this crowd we had galaga all over again! Go get it! Oh wait, might be too hard for them...

No grind, mean no AA+ update. Players who wont be AA+ updated will just be weakness in every activity as, module update engineer is involve in every game style : pvp/pve/combat/exploration/mining/trade.

To be honest, it's about knowing the best way to play the game. You'll earn credits far more quickly with missions than with trading. Hope this helps :)

Sorry, you are very wrong. Elite Dangerous has zero in common with K Grind Fests.
How long you been playing?
NO ONE FORCES YOU TO GRIND.
Stop rushing through mindless boring tasks and just. enjoy. the. game.
Total click bait post there. You have made the game what you like, and not what it is.

Well someone might have a something called LIFE, you know?

I already said I simply have no time for grind and I totally loves Elite before Grindgineers

No one "forces" people in Korean grindfests to play the game either.

Run the math on how long it takes to go from a Sidewinder to a fully upgraded Cutter/Conda/Corvette.

It will be longer than how long it takes to grind to max gear in most korean grind fests.

I prefers play game like explorer .

... if you are an explorer, around 10 mio exploration data will gain you access to the highest level modifications of the explorer friendly engineers martuk and fraseer - and i assuming the same will go for palin.

so, go out, explore some weeks, no grind needed.

Does it!? Where did you get that information? :/

This. When you unlock an engineer, go to their base.

You can gain rep with them by taking part in relevant activities based on the landing pad board. :)

I must disagree with many of the respondents; of course Elite:dangerous is grindy. You can Scout, Mine, or Trade. No matter what else: the scouting, mining, or trading is fundamentally the same from the beginning to the end of the game.

And as to what does change (the ability to get new ships); that happens at a glacial pace.

That's the definition of grinding... repeating the same action over a long period to stretch out play time.

There are not "new maps". The "New items" are few and end quickly. There's no real difference between this part of the universe and that. You are not building an empire (say: the X-games, which also were grindy.

I'm not saying this as a criticism nor a compliment. I stopped playing a long time ago because (among other things) the grind got boring. I restarted recently and have enjoyed a few weeks of grinding (was about to get my FAS before 2.1 came and lowered my reserves)... and there's a bit more variety with planets now, and a bit more in the way of goals with engineers and powers; but it's still a grind.

Compare: Freespace.

First of all why Korean, did I miss something funny and obvious or is this casual stereotyping? :p

Second of all this game is exactly what you make of it just like all others on the market. Just because you've decided to play one way and dislike it doesn't that is the only way to play.
GTA, all it is is grinding. Get a gun, shoot someone. Get a car, run over someone. There's no fun!

But you are correct, this is by no means instant gratification, it's like Fallout or Minecraft rather than Garrys mod. The pleasure is in the journey not the destination.
To take the Minecraft vs Gmod - If you can just summon 50,000 exploding barrels the spectacle is as fulfilling as wiping your nose. If it takes time and investment then it makes the end result worth all the more.

To this end look at how you play and why you are doing what you are doing, are you on powerplay, are you taking missions. What is your end goal, are you here to get X ship or are you there to experience the game.
Have you tried all the game has to offer (mining/trading/combat/community goals/exploring) or are you always looking for the best profits?
I had most fun recently in the beta in a stripped out Eagle for under 600,000 Credits racing around planets like a lunatic, sure I didn't earn money in that time but it was really really fun :)

Tl: dr, if you dislike it do something else, the game has many ways to play, don't focus on credits as hard as that may be.
