Engineers Anybody got nanobreakers or praseodymium?

Praseodymium seems to be pretty common when mining in a metallic belt - I got lots of it earlier this evening. Already sold to help pay for a very expensive repair bill after an interdiction though!

Aye...I ain't no miner, though, and I don't really fancy learning the ropes just to get one material. Figured it might be easier (and more beneficial to both parties) to do a trade instead :)

Heh. I got nanobreakers as a mission reward earlier tonight. Sold them as I didn't want cargo racks on my Vulture.

Suck it up, dude - that's the Engineer way ;) I've got 6T of cargo space in my Vulture, which will magically turn into HRPs once I'm done modding. Not much further to go, really...just need to get to level 5 distributor, level 3 FSD and <something> with the lasers.

I do rather need the praseodymium and nanobreakers, though, so I'd take it as a kindness if you handed 'em off to me instead of selling them :D

That brings up a great point. When we get engineer materials that take up cargo space, we don't have anywhere to put them. The options are to sell them or keep them using up that space until they're needed. We really do need to get some kind of cargo/item/materials storage space at stations, I hope FD is looking at this.

Cargo storage has been nixxed in the past, as it was intended to be a trading game, not a hoard the commodity to play the market game.

As far as I know that's never changed as an intent. I HAVE seen mention of module storage of some form though. Timescale unknown.

Praeseodymium was in a metallic ring with other higher value mined commodities, which I'd never been able to locate before. The problem with mined commodities is you need cargo space and cannot transfer them to another ship, so you have to mine them in the ship you will want to use them with to upgrade.
The thing I can't find anywhere is Arsenic - any ideas where to try and look?

That was my understanding as well, but now it seems that they've introduced a mechanic via loot & crafting that is going to require some form of "out of ship" storage.

are you sure you cant move any cargo into another ship you own if it has the space.. ?
Timocani near Maddox relay had 2 arsenic for me in only 10 mins of looking. lots of metallic meteorites about. 12 KM from the base

OP I would love to trade with you but don't have what you want..
some kind of galactic swap shop is needed.

I may have some of those items you require, come alone to the sosolingati system planet 5A, lat and long to be given upon arrival and winging :)

Cmdr Ashley Wilkinson is the name, oh and if you could bring me 100 tonnes of something expensive and nice it would be appreciated :)

They could just give us 64 tons of storage per station or something like that. Nowhere near enough to affect or take advantage of the market. Just need a place to store the cargo needed for Engineers.

Implying this game has a truly dynamic market that could be played in that way... LOL, yeah no. That's not a reason for no storage.

Excellent. I shall do exactly that...

I've got 3 or 4 tons of praesodymium that I can spare. I'll trade them for some other engineer related item. Or just give me a meta alloy for each one.
