Bit of a Random One - Station voices

Hi

Loving the new voices at the stations when approaching, just come to me that the female voice at LTT 7903 Lyakhov City sounds very much like the actress who did the voice for Amita in Far Cry 4.

Love the addition of the voices though, she gets a bit angry at me for speeding ;-)

Mostly they are good flavours.
There's one American Deep South accent that sounds a bit "put on". Like a Londonner faking it.
At George Lucas station in Leesti. But I'm quibbling, it's a cool addition.

Two things I would like though:
More language variety.
Russian French Greek Nigerian Portuguese Urdu Tagalog Creol

And second
Be be nice to have another layer in there. Far station and vehicle Comms chatter heavily distorted but quiet as a bed for the local voices.

Then as you leave the bubble that static chatter base goes quiet and the radio Comms starts to pick up.
Uh, you know the Cthulu Phtargn whisperings from the depths of Michael Brooks dirty laundry pile.

I personally find most of them great. Haven't found any favorite yet.

As to whether an accent sounds good or real is highly subjective anyway. I've met people in real life that for a second had me thinking: "Is this guy deliberately putting on a fake accent?"

My favorite so far was at 63 G Capriconi when ATC approved my automated docking then advised me to "LEARN TO FLY"!

I dunno about anyone else but I've had to mute the radio chatter. I actually find it quite irritating. To me it's totally superfluous/redundant - bordering on inane/pretentious.

I turned 'em off after 1/2 hour.

500m to landing - yeah I know, thanks.

Off.

Ohh I wish I could turn ATC off IRL :D however love it in ED, add soo much to the immersion.

There's a selection of Russian and Eastern European ladies in the outer edge of Imp space.

EDIT: Jeez, I sound like a pimp... HAHAHAHA!!

Well, some of us love it.

I like it. It adds abit of local colour and makes the stations seem more alive. Think the background chatter could do with increasing in volume a notch, as it's barely audible even with headphones on.

I like the Scottish guy who tells me to "learn how to fly" because I'm using a docking computer.

Never been to Robigo.

And besides, I was sitting in the barber's the other day and the barber asked the chap in the chair next to me whether he would like some aftershave. And he said "Heavens no! I don't want to go home to my wife smelling like a cheap brothel"

When my turn came I said "Splash away my good man, for my wife has no idea what a cheap brothel smells like."

Was that the Scottish guy by any chance? Been docking in that sys for the CG, even though im allied he always comes across like he hates me, one of these days I'll request docking and it'll be "oh great, you again!" :D
