Horizons to much circling when beeing interdicted sucessfully

Heyho ...

Do you also think that the "uncontrolled circling" after being interdicted successfully is to much? ... I was interdicted in my asp and was circling longer then it took to shoot me down (by a vulture). I tried to stear against but it didn't helped.

It felt quite too harsh :/

I agree! I was undermining for PowerPlay yesterday evening and it was crazy how my Corvette was spinning out of control when exiting supercruise after I was winning the interdiction. It doesn't only happen when you are interdicted, it also happens when you interdict. And sometimes, I was making maybe 2 dozens spins before coming to a stop. Very annoying.

Why were you engaged in circling actions against a ship with far better performance in that department?

The key in combat is try to play to your ships strengths not the opposition. If your ship is weaker in all areas to your opponent, best to get out of their pronto.

The only combat areas the Asp has a potential advantage over the Vulture is in having 6 guns, hence can carry a varied weapon loadout to cater for different combat scenarios, and also has better power flexibility.
In terms of speed, acceleration and breaking, shields, armour, target area to hit and manoeuvrability its in for a world of pain against a Vulture.

EDIT
I might be mis interpreting what your on about .

As having read earlier replies you may be talking about the spinning after being dropped out of interdiction.

yapp ... I was interdicted successfuly by a vulture (didn't made it ^^) and then was thrown out circling like hell ... the vulture began firing after one or two seconds (was stable?) and i could do nothing but circling (stearing had nearly no effect cuz the circling was very fast and heavy).

That's not what the OP is talking about. He's talking about that when the interdiction ends, even before you can deploy your hardpoints, your ship gets into an unstoppable spin that last for several seconds.

It seems the violent spin has gotten much worse since 2.1.
I do sort of like the rollercoaster ride to be honest.

Reverse quickly, pitch down, flight assist off. Meet the ship now from the opposite way.
give it a shot.
Flimley.

I can "deal" with it as long as the other ship doesn't COLLIDE with you, which has happened to me twice! Took severe damage from it, but so did the NPC, so I was able to take them out easier, but come on!

The effect would be cool at HALF of the current level. I get the same spinning top effect when I am doing the interdicting of an NPC. I did it properly, and it was successful, so WHY is my ship spinning out of control as if I did something wrong?

Another perfect example of FD always having to turn EVERYTHING to 11 out of the gate.

Come on guys! Don't you have anything else in your toolbox besides MAXIMUM everything on new features?

I feel your pain. What's even more annoying is that the same uncontrollable spinning is there when _I_ interdict someone else.
