A derelict ship rescue! *Video*

So I came across a derelict ship floating a field of debris near Pluto and Charon. I noticed I could get inside of it via the classified camera... I then got the idea to pretend to be a pilot being rescued via my Eagle. Now I really can't wait to be able to EVA in Elite. Imagine this happening for real! God this game is going to be something else in a few years..

lol - thought you was going to bed to be up at 4am for the download??!!
You will be flying into mountains if you dont get some sleep!!

I know! I know! But I'm just so excited! And I keep scoping out planets for landing tomorrow. I really should go to sleep now, or I'll be up all night, haha.

I did something similar whilst looking for rebel transmissions in USS' I kept finding occupied escape pods, so I decided to get close and see what they look like up close. I realized you can clip through it with the classified cam and to my surprise.... it was empty.... I guess now I don't feel so bad for never picking them up lol.

But were they empty.....?....maybe they were occupied by the ghosts of long dead pilots and your cam captured them. Maybe even now, one transferred out the game into your monitor and is watching your every move. Maybe...just maybe...when you turn off your monitor one night, the reflection in the screen staring back at you will not be your own.......

You're right, probably close to an hour. I'm hoping it'll be a little faster though, since it'll be around 4am here. Hoping some kind of late night bonus speed thing applies, like my old Internet had. (from 12-6am the Internet was faster)

Just found another one of these, but it was on a planet. Pretty neat floating around inside of a ship with the classified camera!
