Engineers NPC still with OP modules ? When Frontier will disable it ?

Yesterday I lost my vulture to an uber agil anaconda using thermal.
Today we had patch and I just lost my viper to an vulture using also OP modules that took my shield with 1 shoot.
When Frontier will disable those modules on Npcs ? Did Frontier retreat from this idea ?
 
And Thermal attack doesn't necessarily mean a thermal shock weapon. The retributon laser has been in the game since 2.0, and does tha same thing.
 
Nop, they are all there, not only thermal effect, but very agil anacondas, cannons taking shield in one shoot, super shields, etc.
 
They I must be playing a different game.

The change they did was remove the engineers upgrades from the NPC's.
The fix for the uber weapon bug will be dealt with this weekend/ early next week.

As stated before, no, I am still seeing every kind of upgrades in NPC still, maybe a bug, or my rank or something ?

Note this part of the thread "the only action that we’ve taken so far has been to remove the engineer weapons" That says to me that they removed the over powered weapon mods, but shield mods, engine mods etc all still remain. They just removed the pointy bits of the AI.
 
No longer snapshot kill, but IA still hurt more than they should.

all enemies of the power play are relentless, the security forces are killing everithing in the way, cant´t find targets in RES

and a lot more pursuers than ever
 
Nop. I just lost my viper to an Asp that in the first shot make me roll in very fast speed and kill me with 2 shots, I didnt saw anything because of the spinning and had all A-Rated shield.
The mods are still there unfortunately.
 
I did get shot by a viper and it took my asp shields in one hit. then lunched over 50 missiles in like 10 seconds i barely made it out. it seems its NPC on steroids rather then Engineers upgrades. honestly i cant tell.
 
The devs stated they took out MOST of the Engineer mods...however, there are some that are programmed deeper into the game and were not able to be removed.

Bounty hunters interdicting me clearly have thermal weapons at least,
since the computer stated "thermal attack detected"...
The normal NPCs encountered and populated by the player seem fine,
but spawning bounty hunters interdicting you (the ones who message to local in SC),
still have very advanced engineer stuff.
