"Due to the recent surge of unsanctioned and illegally modified weapons from the NPC AI over the recent days. The Pilots Federation have agreed to reimburse all insurance payouts made over that period (Between The Engineers (2.1) update and this mornings update)."

I've received 11mil back. It's half of my losses but half is better than none! It just appeared in my in game account. I didn't have to do anything to get it.

Any ships blown up by NPC since 2.1 dropped and todays patch get the money back. Got the cost of my ASP back as it was taken out by an NPC with the rapid fire bug, but even if it was not due to the bug you should get a refund.
