The super weapons seem to have been fixed, however I encountered two federal dropships in a CZ today I could not outrun in my Courier with enhanced engines. I was max pips to engines, going about 312 KM/sec and these dropships easily caught up with me while firing on me the whole time. The only way I could pull away was by boosting continuously. Don't see how it's possible that a dropship can outrun an enhanced courier unless there is still a bug un-accounted for. I posted a bug report.

My fully loaded and armored Dropship can boost at 325m/s, and with the good capacitor I can almost perma-boost with 2 pips to ENG and 4 pips to WEP.

It is most likely that the NPCs were lighter than that.
312 is not very fast, a lot of ships can do this kind of speed without too many problems.

350 is indeed a bit high for a Dropship. I light build could do 340 at top boost, but as we don't know the equipment they had, and their exact speed, it's hard to say if they cheated

Could they have had modded engines. NPCs had combat specific mods taken but they were not completely neutered of all mods
NPCs might use Engie improved thrusters, as it is non-combat upgrade (FD have indicated that's the case).
Yeah I supposed that's possible, but I would expect a Courier with enhanced engines to be able to outrun a dropship fairly easily. The first one chased me 50 K while I continuously boosted and let my shields build back up. Went back to the CZ and a second one chased me out in a repeat performance.
If you're only getting 312 on a Courier with enhanced engines you must be doing something wrong. And don't forget you can hit boost to make it faster as long as you have enough power.
Are you sure you're going 312m/s in a courier? That's sluggish for a ship that size. My A-spec FDL goes faster than that and it weighs a hell of a lot more.
