Frontier, we need at least a hotfix patch within this week.

Not many people want to talk about this subject on this Forum due to 'lack of voice and censorship.' So why not, I will have a go at Frontier.

Frontier, we need at least a hotfix patch within this week that more or less fixes small issues that are happening now, while a somewhat larger update comes out in the next week or two that fixes the larger issues at hand.

I tweeted ( https://twitter.com/azgoodaz/status/739529175610970112 ) at Frontier Dev, Frontier Help and Elite: Dangerous to try and get an answer but after waiting, I guess they don't have the answer to anything.

More or less, you gave us DLC that's unplayable (it's coming close to the GPP version back in July of 2015). You had one year to test this DLC on Xbox, which I doubt you did or the QA department didn't do a great job... at their job. Coming from a Beta tester by myself, this is sad from you and we expected more.

Based on your numbers, you probably had A LOT of players drop in player count, refunds have been completed by Commanders who gave up on you, and you probably have lost trust in future DLC updates with the community.

Me personally, if you came out and said "We are delaying the DLC, and launching it on June 9th or 10th so we can patch out a few bugs," I would be completely fine with that. But you didn't, you went for the money and just released it.

-------

Edit: I read all the comments without replying to not startup anymore arguments, since all Frontier forums is all towards the "no one agrees with the OP" boat party. It looks like everyone read the top part of my argument and didn't read my bottom part at all which states, if they came out and said "we are delaying the DLC a week (or more if needed)" I would be fine with this so they can have stable and playable DLC... but no one read or agreed to this. People are stating that "Hey submit bug reports" and Frontier will patch it "soon." Have you seen my posts? I doubt you did. For some people, the game/dlc is completely fine for you, you never had any of these issues that we (the other people) have had sadly... So you won't know what we are going through to enjoy a f*cking awesome game... or at least 20 minutes of it.

Sure I'm angry at Frontier for giving us unfinished DLC. Brett C also commented that "patches take time" and yet Call of Duty, Smite, and etc get Hotfixes out the door like free candy... something smells fishy about this... don't you think? Maybe Frontier doesn't give a shi*t about the consoles anymore... I don't know. In the end, yes I will be playing another game (as what more people have stated in replies) like Battlefield 4 but I will still try to play the DLC here and there, because I actually want to play it, the DLC is really fun.

Oh look, another one of these threads. I thought spam was against the rules?

They are aware of the issues, people are posting bug reports and filing support tickets so they know something is up. These threads do absolutely nothing.

Oh look, another horrible comment that doesn't help any further.

sorry, who are you again? the "discontent player base" community manager?

Does Microsoft actually facilitate these for publishers?...

- a hotfix patch within this week
- a somewhat larger update comes out in the next week or two

I don't understand the whole "unplayable" thing with this game. I had a few bugs, but nothing "unplayable" about it.

Currently playing.

The game is playable. A few speed bumps but will get fixed in due time.

Secondly.
They can't account for everything. We wanted it soon. We got it soon. I'm content with the product knowing it will get fixed like it always does.

Everyone on my friends list is extremely happy with the game. Even some people that resurfaced after a 6 month hiatus.
So that point is weak IMO. The people ditching the game are a very low percentile and well, it's gonna happen.

Stop complaining
It came out Friday. It will likely be fixed before next Friday. Play something else until then if you cant handle it.

your post paragrahs in a few words:

1- an attack to the mods and forum users. gratuitous, CA you prove it?
2- an urgent demand based on.. who knows.
3- useless comment about how not to report something.. Twitter? what about a bug report or a support request?
4- a judgement on something you don't know. QA? what do you know about FD's QA to judge?
5- don't know what is this.
6- nonsense..

there you go, now how can I take you seriously?

Indeed it's getting rather annoying. More so than the bugs for me.

I know that some bugs are extremely frustrating (I have like one crash per hour) but you have to give frontier atleast some time. I am sure that they fix the problems as fast as they can. To the others, do yourself a favor and just ignore these threads if they bother you. Dont waste your energy on them ^^

I just asked myself the same thing, huh this is curious

I just want to see how this ends, the mystical Blue haired girl vs this guy (grabs popcorn)

There is no contest. I already won, if there was something to even win. Just another case of someone throwing a tantrum and getting more upset when an argument goes against them instead of debating like a normal person.

To be fair I don't even know why this topic is still open. The guy shuts down anyone who doesn't agree with his very angry original post. That kills discussion. Forums are made for discussion. This thread is literally anti-forum. It's a message to the developers, reminds me of a longer version of the Xbox Hub feed comments, not a discussion among users. Even if it was a more open topic, what would we even discuss? If the game needs fixes or not? Of course it does.

All this thread does is breed flaming and baiting.

Lol, those words man... so much truth in one post +1 rep for that

No you didn't. If anyone here posts anything you don't agree with, you immediately attack them and then complain in later posts once they've
defended themselves. I'm not blind to it and I'm certain I'm not the only one. The only thing you're likely to win is an award for repetitive behaviour.

opening the same post everynow and then is certainly a repetitive behaviour, when we could just have one open and writting on it.
