zooming off at take-off

Pretty sure this isn't a 2.1 bug more a "me accidentally resetting the keys" idiot move.

So at take-off I fly off the landing pad? (Kudos to the makers for doing away with those take-off pads btw).

Tried upping my dead-zone on thrust - didn't work. Any suggestions? Using a T-master Hotas. Sure it's a bindings thing.

Cheers in advance.

Yep, pretty sure something isn't right with the keybindings, or a different bug; Iv'e heard of a few reports of Hotas issues on this. You might want to get it checked up before your ship Yippee Ki Yay's out of the docking bay next time.

I have had this a few times in the past, try pulling your USB out and putting it back in again. I now this isn't the answer long term, but it used to work for me.

Ta very much for the info guys, will try both suggestions.

Kinda fun when you've landed at pad #1 and you need to do an up-and-under to get out.

But if some people don't dig - best I've found is to pull the throttle fully back at each landing.

If your throttle is in the forward only mode instead of full range, it should be all the way back to zero the throttle.

Cheers for the info. The reason I borked this was trying to find the keys for turning off the screens coming up when you look around the cockpit. Something for the explorers out there, fellow Asp fans - the settings are:

"Mode Switches"
Looking at - Target/Comms/Role/Systems - set to "Does Nothing"

Happens to me after I have restarted my computer and play Elite. Doesn't happen if I close Elite and start the game without restarting the computer for some reason.

A good way of checking for throttle level is go to the debug camera. Wait a couple of seconds, if the camera moves forward, move throttle back until it's still and you're in neutral. Then when you take off, move throttle full forward then full reverse to rebalance.
