Engineers How to meet Marco Qwent?

I jut got to rank 3 with Elvira Martuuk and I thought that would give me the invite to Marco Qwent, but no emails appears and he is not in my engineers list. Do I have to get the Sirius system permit first?

First suggestion would be to relog first then see. If you don't get it after that perhaps you might.

I'm sure I read on that community built google doc his primary requirement is that you own a Sirius system permit.

When I hit rank 3 with Elvira Martuuk I had to craft one rank 3 module with her before she gave me the information about Qwent.

I was already allied with Sirius Corp, they gave me an invite delivery mission which was easy but Qwent wants 25 bloody modular terminals to unlock his services.. ugh.

So i got the information from Elvira Martuuk as well. Went to Sirius, while i am allied with sirius corporation, checking where i can meet Marco Qwent just to see there is nothing at all... No invitation, no mission

Yeah, even though the doc says rank 3 for invite, it's actually rank 3 and 40-50% towards rank 4 from my experience.

Alright i checked every system near and including Sirius itself for an invitation to Marco Qwent, but there are no invitation missions at all.
I am Allied with them and did a couple of missions just to check if screen is bugged. but not even 5M cr worth of donating changed the fact, that there is simply no invitation for me.
This engineers sucks so much... unbelievable

I am having this same issue. Whether I am in the Patterson Enterprise docking station or have landed at Efremov Plant on Lucifer, the invitation mission never shows up despite me being allied to Sirius Corp (obviously or I wouldn't have had the Sirius permit in the first place).

You may need to get something like 30% reputation at rank 3 with her before she gives you the invite. Craft a bunch of useless grade 1 mods or bring her some exploration data and see if that helps.

Sirius permit mission is bugged so if you didnt get it ages ago you wont be able to unlock Qwent and professor Palin with him.

I had the mission for days now and nothing happened.From my memory since the game released in 2014 there have always beeen problems with permits in general, fdev should just remove sirius permit from game.

Don't bother with him unless you're already sirius aligned. Go for hera Tani especially since she is better in every aspect and much easier to unlock.

He unlocks professor Palin who does rank 5 thrusters so,yes it bothers me

To get the second tier engineers you have to be beyond rank 3. I think you need to be rank 3 + 40% or something strangely arbitrary like that.. It's the same with all of them.

Sadly there is a Sirius bug in this case... [mad] I've grinded the Sirius Corp. to allied this weekend and I took the permit acquisition opportunity from the mission tab but it didn't trigger... no chance in the moment.

Went to patterson in sirius and there is no invitation mission.
Where do I pick this up at?

Both in beta and live I only found the invite mission at the outpost O'Brien Vision, maybe coincidence but worth a look.

Lucky you, you had already the Sirius access. In your case, you need to get to tier 3 (maybe tier 4) recipes by Elvira.
