It will, but the main question should probably be if upgrading to it is worth it and that greatly depends on what card you have now. If you have something like 970 or weaker then it is probably worth the upgrade to it, if you have something like 980ti then I would see the upgrade to have marginal effect until devs starts employing the options of these new cards for VR rendering which will take some time or it might also turn to never like it happened with their AA options which are not supported by many games

Short answer is yes, but spend a few extra bucks and get a 1080. Better components and slightly better performance.

Yeah a 1070 will give you a good VR experience.
I was running a 970 with my CV1 and it was solid.
Got a 1080 now and it enables me to supersample, 1070 should give a decent supersample ratio as well.
