So I'm sure we have all been there before, cruising in a res site, searching for that high bounty to fill our wallets to try their luck. Then when we find our next pay packet for what ever reason we attack before the scan has finished or the police join in and they fly in the path of your projectiles. Sometimes its just us being to quick with the trigger finger. Other times we are tired and not paying attention.
This exact thing happened with me about an hour ago. Trying out a new loadout now with missiles, 4 go streaming out towards the wanted conda and a security pilot flys in the path of the missles and get hit. I get slapped with a 600 credit bounty on my head and the feds start chasing me, I turn to leave the system and my fsd gets blown out. Huge rebuy (I can afford it, not the issue here) for a clipping of a cops shields with missles that he flew into.... Sustained fire on cops I can understand but this is not right.
What about the deadly response to taking a little longer to finding your parking space or someone distracts you in the back of the ship, saying food is ready, Appreantly the only reaction the station staff has it to make more work for themselves, won't someone think of the clean up crew please.
There are other reports of security forces abusing their power to get one over on the freelance pilots, I get it, their jobs are boring and they need to release some steam but seriously, we need a rehaul of the crime system or else police brutality is gonna continue to rise. #Pilotslivesmatter
I've found other reports of this happening here.https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/4bfooc/the_npc_security_response_to_accidental_200/
