Want to buy lavian brandy 1M/10 Ton

Didi grind is unreal, so crowd sourcing. Willing to pay 1M for 10 tons, being 10x their sale price in a rare run. In game name is CMDR Storm Before Dawn, feel free to friend me. 150 tons to go.

My plan:

Use a second account or a friend and sit outside station with 200 cargo space.
Use first account and sit on the commodity screen running a buy macro
Come back every 15 minutes throughout the evening to put more brandy in the hold of the second account

FDev grind for the win... Surely someone made a typo here, it must have been supposed to be 20 or something...

Yeah, without an alt I am not sure how this is supposed to go. Figured I would go the emergent content route. I think being able to trade materials would allow for some really cool content and make more of a player network.

GL with that. Money is so easy to come by these days, you'll need to offer much more than 1m/10t for somebody to bother doing it for you. And trasferring enough cargo to another player for it to be worth it, even using limpets, will make you want to kill yourself so bad you might as well sit in the station and collect the brandy yourself.
Welcome to the game afraid of emergent gameplay.

2M/hr is pretty good for someone who can do this in a sidewinder/t6. I am currently sitting in the station picking them up two at a time, and 200 T will take me 16 hours minimum @ 5 minute respawns. 1m is ~80 palladium tons and should take about 4 minutes to transfer with 3 limpets active.

If people are willing to fly 140 LY to sell them for 10k ea, someone else will be willing to fly out of the station for 100k ea.

The real issue is that they'll stop spawning once you have 10-15 of them in your hold... So you'll actually have to do the delivery run 20 times or so... as well. That's where the alt account would come in..

No, I posted a bug report about it before Hitler made it to FP. Ground out the req's for the other engineers first. Sat down with a calculator for this one and kinda went, "well gosh".

Yup. I had a friend collecting them while I ground out the run, and then grabbed more myself till he got 10. Was a bit better. 10 seems to be the limit, i can't purchase more after that

Keep your eyes peeled on the supply of Lavian Brandy after today's tick around 1700 UTC. We (AEDC) have been working to get it back to normal supply levels (3 - 7 tonnes every 10 min, max 7 tonnes in cargo).

Once the production is back online, you can drop 7 outside the no-fire zone, go back in and get 7 more, exit the station and collect your dropped cargo. You can drop a max of 20 canisters outside the station.

Still a slow grind, but better than 1 - 2 every ten minutes.

Three possible reason for this odd choice for Didi:
1) The 200 qty was intentional, bc FD hates us. This is one way to show their contempt.
2) It is a typo. Fumbly fingers and thumbs are a contagious illness at FD.
3) FD is trying to delay progress on this engineer for some reason. The NPC's have taken over and are trying to prevent further player modifications of our ships.

Is that normal? I thought that it got the rare axe, and 2 was its actual mass. I never ran rares back when they were a thing. Also, what are you doing to boost their Eco?

We worked to finish the war that they find themselves in in another system.

War was said to affect the production rate of Rares according to an FD reply about the Soontil relics missing. They got fixed to have a production rate of at least 1, but wars are still supposed to affect them.

Yeah, earlier they had 1 production that that was, well not possible to do. AFAIK their current, unaffected values, are 2 per "tick" and to a maximum of 10.

Nothing wrong with some engineers being easier or harder to access than others. Gives them more character if anything else.

This one just wants to have liver failure before you are trustworthy enough. The customer will be the one to have the final laugh.

True. There is no problem with varying difficulty levels in accessing Engineers. I'm sure she's planning one helluva party though! Question is, does she invite you to it?

Like Apos said, end their conflicts and put them into Boom. If you look at the commodities market in Lave Station, all of the supply is down due to the War elsewhere. So we're ending the current War and attempting to keep them out of other conflicts. It's not easy when they've expanded to at least 5 other systems.

The War should clear on today's influence update (tick), so we'll see if the plan worked in about an hour. Maybe a couple hours after that if it takes time for the servers to propagate the change.

4) The BGS is working just fine, reducing production of rare goods.
5) There is no reason to need to have access to this engineer by some certain date or time.
6) FD are thinking players may band together and crank these out (when the production bumps back up). But I guess it isn't emergent content unless it has an official in game narrative provided by FD...
