Engineers Felicity Farseer doesn't want data to increase rep anymore?

I was at level 4 with her, and sold a bunch of data before I went to bed last night. Just logged in, keen to find how I progressed. Now she's telling me my rep will increase by buying mods.

Did I run into a bug, or has this been changed?

Ok, I think it's a bug, because progress is exactly the same as Elvira Martuuk.

I'd very much like to know this too, hope it's a bug. As data is about the only thing I have lots of (not many materials, not much time to find them, not much clue where to find them).

Ok, I think it's a bug, because progress is exactly the same as Elvira Martuuk.

Sounds dodgey to me. I definitely went all the way to level 5 with data for Felicity over two or three visits and had not built a single mod.

Yeah after rank 4 she wants mods, it only takes like 2 rank 4 mods to hit rank 5. That said I think its around 12 million total credits from exploration to max out her rep either way.

I talked to CMDRs who could use data to get to Lvl 5. Please don't tell me they changed this so I'm going to have to grind to have to grind to get a lvl 5 FSD.

She'll still take it, it just that rank 4 to rank 5 takes a lot longer than all the previous ranks but she will still take exploration data. That is how I maxed her out.

Ok, I'll try if selling data increases rep and the 68% for both engineers is just a coincidence.

Estimation of my trip to the neutron star field:
- over 800 jumps / honks for the round trip
- around 80-100 black holes surface scanned + honks
- some neutron stars and white dwarves on the way
= something like 15-20 millions credits, right? I hope I can get Felicity and Elvira to grade 5 with that, fingers crossed...

I think it's bugged. I have the same problem with bounties for McQuinn. I had no rep gain for spending 1.5 Mio and contacted support. They added the rep by hand (68% lvl 1 to 42% lvl 2) i don't know if that is correct, but i trust them. Now i spent 2 Mio and again no gain. Ticket is still open (48h ago). Hope they fix the issues because it's a bit annoying to contact the support every time i try to gain rep with an eng.

Oh, you mean that if, like for apparently everybody else, alliance bounty vouchers don't count for todd, you create a ticket and pof, you get some rep?
That sounds nice compared to hunt for Todd's specific and ultra rare bounties...

Elvira has always said that the way to increase rep with her is by buying mods, but I was still able to get her to rank 3 with exploration data. After rank 3 it becomes much harder. 850k credits gave me something like 27% of progress.

Tod has his own bounties, they are just super rare and therefore not viable to level him up

Good to hear, one class 4 upgrade should put you over the top if you managed to have the parts. If not just a bit more exploring.

Hmmm, scanning high wakes 18 kms apart in the hope of getting 1 out of 16 millions sorts of data and endlessly checking USS upon USS upon USS upon USS to find a material or having a road trip.
