Pillars of creation is just name given to a part of the horsehead nebula (which is in the center of barnard's loop). It's not a reference to anything really. All nebulas are points of destruction and creation.
Ive been searching for barnacles in Barnard's Loop since the CN barnacle discovery. Nothing so far.Im at california Nebular now looking straight at barnard's loop it must be what the Barnacles logo is referring too. ie we come from here. didnt MB say that other nebula would give clues to the origin? if so does it mean from california nebula you can tell they are from barnard's loop? also don't the so called pillars of curation reside near there? Im still shell searching at the moment anyone else over at Barnard's loop searching at the moment?
Canonn have xbox players, I don't see why we can't have NPC's - come, NPC's, join the Canonn; post on our site, chat on our Discord, contribute to the lovely threadnaut (with pics or it didn't happen).

Hi LZ
did you receive your new VR, or still waiting?

Wait what?! There's barnacles in the California nebula too? Are they the same as the others?
Yes, except now they make a different sound that is not what it was in 2.0.
Can some one near merope shell go to a known UA location and check latest spawn times for me please. or dose anyone know since 2.1 for sure how to get a UA to sparwn in a known location? thanks going space crazy out here
yesterday lunchtime i managed to get 3 UAs in about 15-20 minutes or so. the first two came about 5 mins apart.
Excellent and that was at sss 100 ls or more away from the main star correct?
UAs are in USS now. Marked Anomaly, after scann.
If you are on the bubble side of the shell, I recomend going to Aries Dark Region GW-W D1-52. The system has only a single star and no planets.
It spawns an UA USS about every 5-10 min.
The 'Pillars of Creation' are at the Eagle Nebula, a few KLY in the other direction from Barnard's Loop (if you're in Sol). At the moment I'm searching the Witch Head Nebula for Barnacles and that has a very good view of Barnard's Loop and is suspiciously surrounded by permit-locked systems with a corridor in that happens to be on the opposite side of the nebula from Barnard's Loop. The system I've been checking this evening has two rocky moons that are the right temperature for Barnacles, although the composition of the one I've just spent the evening searching is very slightly outside the currently-known parameters for rock/metal content (I felt it worth checking anyway). The only POI I located had SRV and skimmer wrecks and some cargo. I've had little luck with finding the materials here as well - I'm even missing one of the commons - so I'll try again tomorrow evening.Im at california Nebular now looking straight at barnard's loop it must be what the Barnacles logo is referring too. ie we come from here. didnt MB say that other nebula would give clues to the origin? if so does it mean from california nebula you can tell they are from barnard's loop? also don't the so called pillars of curation reside near there? Trying this when I'm next in on Sunday eve. True story.

Yep, have had the CV1 for nearly a month now and it runs very well indeedIt appears that one of my eyes is slightly above the other one, though, which I've been a bit confused about - causing the perfect facial fit not to be right for my eyes! But this version of the headset is so cleverly designed to be easy to put on and take off and adjust, that with a bit of fiddling (careful!) I'm always able to get sorted quickly.
The new planetary rendering updates have made SRV driving even smoother than before, too. I'm on a 980ti - with one spare (Mr B - any plans to plug into Nvidia's VR sli stack? Please!? Or even Simultaneous multi projection on the 10xx series? Pretty please!?) and it's pretty much perfect most of the time.
It's met my expectations for sure. Very impressive.
