Today, for the first time, I found a crashsite, that realy looked like one. I was able to see the smoke even before my scanner picked up the first signals. It was such a WOW-moment for me, that I want to share it with you.
My first crashsite that deserves the name.

Those rocks look awfully heavy to have been scraped up by the crash. It looks more like he ploughed through someone's dry stone wall, or killed one of the rock guys from Galaxy Quest. Then again what do I know about exogeology? It certainly looks cool either way. Nice to see some effort going into the planetary eye candy.
Yes a very unrealistic looking crash like almost everyone in game lol. But cool anyway I have only found a crashed probe.
A big hole in the ground and debris no larger than a thumbnail scattered over 900 square miles wouldn't look quite as cool, though!
