The CIA Director declared on Sunday morning that the 28 confidential pages of a report of the American Congress on the attacks of 11 September 2001 against the United States would be published and that they would exempt the Saudi Arabia of any responsibility.

The fact that Saudi Arabia continues to get away with this highlights western corruption and pandering to oil and arms companies, and i speak as someone who supports the war on terror and western military invention (allthough not for the same reasons as the Neoconservatives). Countries like Saudi Arabia and it's violent spreading of Islamic doctrine, combined with western crony capitalism are the ruin of this world.

Agree completely. I was being facetious.

This is another of those issue that will continue to raise questions, but none will ever be answered. I don't know how much you know of the events in Westminster, 4 and 5 November 1605? Not an entirely dissimilar event. 400 years later, the questions remain, but are now overshadowed by the passing of time.

My history is only good after 1900, but i'll look into that (what should i look for), my main point though, is that i detest the suggestion by many that the war on terror is not justified and we have our foreign policy to blame, the facts at the very least confirm that Muslim terrorists carried out 9/11, 7/7, Madrid, Beslan, Munich, Paris, Turkey, and now the existence of ISIL, these things are threats to every liberal, secular human being, they are even threats to moderate Muslims, i get uncomfortable when people suggest that we are the problem, not that you suggested that. As for 9/11, i suspect the narrative will remain the official one, which is a shame if only the KSA were implicated, i can't stand anything about that country, it's laws and it's culture, my heart goes out to it's enslaved citizens (the few that are not oil rich).

What will be really interesting is to discover why these files are being released now?

The issue is already more or less sewn up, questioning the established events of 9/11 is on a par with holocost denial. There is little reason or demand for any more propaganda.

Perhaps news of an as yet unidentified hijacker who somehow survived. Or maybe another plane which has yet to crash into something.

Even us religious people (and me as a Roman Catholic) believe that the people on the top parts of the triangle diagram are up to something shady. The Vatican has taught and exposed to it's public people the wrongdoings of our "respective" leaders that committed secret acts that weren't respectful.

Hey of course there are some lone wolf crazies , but with Islam and Christianity, you have to look closer and call it terrorism, these people commit these acts because they think they are right, the hatred comes from something, on 9/11 and Orlando it came from a hatred of Western secular values/LGBT preached in all 3 holy books (in this case the koran), also the US has a Christian terrorist (white) problem with those people who bomb and murder clinics, religion has to tolerance for LGBT or "blasphemy", so yes, some murders are ideological terrorists. The race issue shouldn't even enter into it (but yes i know it does).

Have you ever read any of these books? Do you have any conception of Islam and Islamic teachings at all?

It's called cherry picking. No-one would seriously suggest that these three injunctions should be exercised, for example.

Well, the whole release of previously confidential pages always strikes me as odd personally. Since often it is something like.
95% {REDACTED} / blacked out stuff.
5% random words in the middle of redacted stuff.

Which kinda makes it entirely pointless, since you could basically make it say anything?
