Hay Mobius. Can you confirm that the Mobius rules still apply if we play in Mobius in the beta ?
I am worried these rules will be broken during the upcoming beta Apocalypse. Where all players are given a bounty & the winner is the person with the highest bounty.

I don't want to get banned from the non-beta mobius group for actions in the beta ?

As a rule I don't accept new players into the beta group, anyone who was already a member when the Beta save was created for beta testing by frontier is already a member of the group.
I don't police the beta group either as there is no point because all data will be wiped at the end of the beta anyway.
so any actions like accepting join request or kicking players wont carry over into the main game.

Hi folks, I posted a request to join a little over 24hrs ago and thought I would check in to say 'Hi' :)
I'd like to join the group as I'm lonely in solo...*insert violin music*...space madness is driving me crazy, and it would be good to see some real people flying around, and maybe join some adventures.

While i am a member of the group, i personally actually prefer solo play, i mean being in a group helps me take on bigger and tougher targets, but it also requires me to play longer per session than i currently do and i play many games, so i play on my own, to avoid anyone getting annoyed how i play like an hour or so at a time.

Just because you are in a group does not mean that you have to play with others. You can say Hello as you pass them in a system or station and go about your merry way. You don't have to do Anything with others. It's just nice to know that if you pop into a station and there is another commander there, you can say hello, howsit, shoot the breeze for a few then go about your merry way. I sometimes log in, do One mission and have to log out. 10 minutes at a time, and its never an issue. Play in group and say Hello as you pass by :p

I am predominantly a solo player, mainly because I'm not into pvp, but it does get a little lonely some times, after reading about Mobius on this forum, thought I'd come and check it out, request sent, I think this is a great idea.

Nope! we have received no reports of player on player.
what we have heard on the grape vine is that some pvp groups are attempting to spread some disinformation via reddit and the forums in an attempt to give others the impression that the Mobius group is an unsafe environment.

What a devious strategy to further their agenda. If they're successful and the campaign works, those timid players who are worried that Mobius isn't as safe as they thought will have no choice but to immediately switch to... Solo. :rolleyes:

Hi, I can confirm that there was a problem today, I was attacked. Mobius has dealt with the person who did it with amazing speed. It's the only problem I have had in all my time in the group, so definitely an isolated incident and Mobius sorted him in less than 20 mins

I have been avoiding my usual space (Open) since 2.1 being rather risk averse. I used to not worry about PvP encounters (boost... boost... FSD), but since the new uber-weapons were introduced and I started flying a Clipper (i.e. more to lose!), I've been in Solo.

But it's so lonely! CGs in Solo are like a ploughman's lunch without the pickle. So I have humbly submitted a request to join Mobius for the company, for the tea-bagging and for the community.
