If I arrive at SagA*

Am I to expect other players there or will it be quiet? (I know time zones may vary when people will be on)

Was just wondering if it's always a hotspot.

Recently there was a Cmdr in a vette being naughty, last year there was another, which was despatched by Anuranium I think. So be careful or at least go in solo when entering, then move to the other body and then go open and approach main star, so you can see if it is busy.

In general very quiet but always worth being cautious though.

Hehe ditto, I want to be at Beagle by next Sunday to prep for this so I'm burning pretty hard, so far I've covered 13,000Ly since yesterday lunchtime.

When I visited the first time back in November I stayed a few days. During the time I was on (a few hours in the evening, CET) I got one CMDR coming in about every 2 hours. Every single one (including me) slightly scared at seeing someone else there, but everyone turned out to be very nice and friendly - well, typical explorers basically

Hehe, fair enough. I've been exploring since December now so slow for me is months. Average is weeks and fast is Days

Best run I've done this trip was around 15,000Ly in a day and a bit for a fuel rat rescue. I try to avoid the "fast" travelling if I can but events tend to get me moving.

Pro tip.. hit Ctrl-B to open the bandwidth monitor, if it is showing more than ~1500 B/s being received then there is a human player in the instance with you. Turn it on before jumping in system and you'll know if someone is there before you arrive.
