I have only one thing to say about this. :D

Before you diagnose yourself with depression, evaluate the amount of jerks of your surrounding, and if you find too much? Than kick out them from your life.
Better resolution than to turn into a hipochonder right?

With respect, that is a silly comment. People suffering depression will frequently find it difficult to deal with some or any people in their environment. Jerks are part of real life and dealing with them is what we all must do. Being incapable of functioning is a possible indication of illness.

Depression is depression of mental activity. Sadness, which can sometimes have a similar symptom, is not the same thing at all.

hipochonder (I suspect you mean hypochondria ), is a potentially serious symptom which frequently develops in some suffering a variety of illnesses, including, sometimes, depression.

It seems that the depression affects 350 million of people in the world. Each year, over 800 000 people die by suicide. The system liberal capitalist promote the burn out at work, also

I voted no, thank god.

I have known a lot of people who do & it is a tough battle. There is always help out there.

That's a leap of logic. WHO estimates that around 350 million people suffer from depression but makes no such link to liberal capitalism:

Here's an interesting article on the topic:

I don't wish to get into a political debate here, just putting out relevant information.
As for suicide rates, they are even more distressing than you suggest, with an estimated full million per year:

Yeah and the best way to do this get to rid of them.

You don't keep bad friends liars thieves and enemies within in your inner circle right? You don't call it someone who causing you trouble a good person. Right?
You remove the from your life and that's it! In one way or another but this is how it's ends anyway even if you deal them first...

For my part i spare the effort, skip the unpleasantries and simply be done with it. Because they are not worth the time.

Not to mention the fact there is a kind of jerks, who wants your attention anyway, and newer stop, you can't "deal with them" because they just start over again.
You know what i'm referring to? Trolls. You ban them out and that's it. Nothing else works. (except their death or yours) Hell! Sometimes not even this.

And no, that's not true you must deal with everything. unless they are trying to force you to do it, and don't leave you alone.
But in this case they are commit harassment what is a criminal offense, and punishable by prohibition, and in extreme cases prison or mental ward...

Of course I did not say that the depression is linked only to liberal capitalism. But it contributes increasingly. In France more than 3 million active people are on the edge of burn out. I think that the France is not the only country in this case. And now there is also the "Bore out"

Talking about this kind of things? You know, there is an interesting similarities between trolls, and gamers. They are both keep dying and re spawn, but while a troll learns and changes nothing?

A true gamer does! From every death mistake and every single move what the enemy do whenever is man, or AI. There was a few big mouthed so full of himself idiot trough the years i taught this lesson in the hard way.

Hehh. :D No wonder you can't do a damn thing about trolls. their mental filtering methods, are just .

Right. I missunderstood your post then. I can see what you are saying and think it's quite plausible.

Understand your point now. Thank you for the clarification.

A serious question should begin with a definition of terms.

You are right, sadness and depression are very different, i can be sad without feeling depressed, but not happy, if i'm ever happy i get depressed very quickly, it's like the happiness triggers negativity, medication can help, i used to be one of those people who refused to believe in depression, i was told it was just people feeling sorry for themselves, but now i know better and i'm happy that the subject is taken more seriously these days.

Have you decided to be happy?

It's your right.
