Bob expected the wreck of an unlucky explorer but what he found was far worse....

...a debris field as big as an Outpost...

...what happend here? The Rescue Team says that there were over 300 people on board...

...Bob helped the Rescue Team looking for survivors but... none were found...

...so what caused this? Pirates, Human error? Or are the rumors true that the Drive Manufacturers dont tell the public that their drives arent so save after all? Whatever the truth might be it is too late for those 300 people to find out...

After this Bob is now on his way to Delkar for a little bit of mining with CMDR Mad Dog Murdock...

...in Delkar they visited 2 High density Conflict Zones but both parties in those conflict zones had a ceasefire and no pictures were made, Murdock and Bob then looked for some USS'es and they found Encoded Emissions where Bob found his first Sattelite and some Speacialised Legacy Firm Ware...

Bob didnt life long... but he had what it takes to be a Explorer... he was Happy, Brave and wanted to know about he unknown. His life might have been short with only 4 Days but he... he lifed his life and that is something he can be proud of even when he is dead. Thank you all for taking part in his life it was short but he was happy. He always hoped to discover something ... something more than just a Planet in the middle of nowhere he wanted to find something that he can be really proud of finding. But it may not sound like he did find what he was looking for but if we look closer he did, he did find... a friend.

Goodbye Bob.

Bob died on my watch :(
That's a shame I'll carry with me to the end of my days.

I'll carry this picture in my cockpit to remind me of the brief time I was able to spend with Bob:

I can repair the scars on my ship, but not the ones on my soul.
The picture will remind me not just of my shame, but also of Bob - his insatiable spirit for adventure and his willingness to see all that there is to see.

RIP Bob - you were an inspiration to us all.

Nooooooooooooo!

Friend Bob, your time was short and your end mercifully brief but you filled your moment in the sun with wonder and joy. You approached the universe with open eyes, mind and heart. You will be missed.

Said it all.
Where did it happen? There needs to be a memorial or at least a Galnet article: this is a wonderful story!

I'll submit one - we were mining in Delkar and then just cruising around looking at CZs and USSs.
Sadly the interdiction was quick and by the time I jumped in it was all over.

I only discovered this thread today, and read everything from the start.
Very nice story and pictures, rep duly distributed

RIP in pieces, brave Bob.

The next wanted Clipper I come across will suffer for the rest of them.
