Common sense and Democracy prevailed :D

And as a Scotsman, I shall fight with all my strength against any rejoining of the EU by Scotland. I specifically voted Brexit.

What a glorious result. Junker, Shultz, Merkel and Rompuplboper or whatever is stupid name is can taste real democracy.. Finally.. out of the EU, I've been working on this for decades. :D

I think I'll celebrate with a liquid Brexfast :p [haha] My gold and currency investments are doing very nicely [big grin]

I find it extremely amusing. Scotland votes to stay. UK others vote to leave. Will this mean another opportunity for Scotland to vote for independence within the EU and outwith the UK?

Strange times indeed!

Interesting thought. Sadly their pounds sterling are now worthless, but still.

Really? I just used it to buy some stuff :D

There is no independence in the EU, they have more and will recieve more power as being part of the UK.. Besides, have you taken a look at the oil price lately?

Try buying another currency. Like every importer will have to, expect your imported goods (read, everything you want) to go up in price.

Nope, Scotland would be much, much better off out. The UK is fairly stuffed now. Earlier on Bloomberg the banks were busy discussing exit strategies, that's going to hurt quite a bit as and when it happens.

Enjoy.

Well I've no doubt the markets will be a bit turbulent this week but its really not the end of the world. Fiat currencies rise and fall all the time, and besides specualtors have naturally been using the occasion to make some money betting on futures etc.. Its Great Britain we are talking about, not some third world dump, 5th biggest economy in the world. Sterling isn't and will never be worthless ;)

I happen to think its a golden opportunity, in a few years time Brits will look back on this and laugh at all those doomsayers.. Trust me :)

Brace your selfs for economical earth quake, and later the ruins.

Too Late.
The British Pound already Crashed.

Negative by 10%
All British Workers just Received a Nice 10% Paycut on Day One of Brexit.

Euro in the same Time dropped by 2% giving EU Workers in other Countries an 2% Paycut on Day One of Brexit.

I fear this will get even Worse over the Coming Week if it Really Turns out that UK will Leave xD
This is going to be Interesting tough. I.ll have to bring some Popcorn to Work as its the main Place where I usually read the Newspapers ^^

My Condolences for the Remain Guys tough.
They Tried to be Rational about this. But I guess in the End it was not Rationale but Emotions that Won.
And in terms of Emotions even if it was 90% Lies the Brexit Camp just did Better by the End of the Day.

Going to be Rough Times.
And now the Challenge is On.

The EU vs UK.
UK Trying to Break the EU by Forcing a Good Deal and thus ending up with other Countries Leaving as well.
Or EU Crushing UK with an Bad Deal thats Forcing UK to Pay Triple what they did so far and which might lead to UK losing North Ireland and Scottland.

I know its British Tradition to Bet on the Underdog. But I am going to place my Bets on the EU.

Ah by the way ^^
The Bookers have just lost a     ton of Money xD

More to life than money. The benefit of owning oneself and destiny is priceless ;)

We'll see what happens in the next weeks and if the pound comes back up.

Congratulations, you have reached your goal.

Now prepare for the reaction of the EU.
