More to life than money. The benefit of owning oneself and destiny is priceless ;)

Well. You got the Chance on your Destiny.
I fear however that the Chances you got now are far far less Good than what the Chances you had when Staying in the EU.

The Destiny of the UK Shaped by this new Won Freedom might just be to Finally Fall by losing Scottland and Northern Ireland and thus turning Back into Single States Consigning the Great British Empire to the Past.

We'll see what happens in the next weeks and if the pound comes back up.

Congratulations, you have reached your goal.

Now prepare for the reaction of the EU.

Pound not only Crashed compared to the Dollar.
It also Crashed by Almost 10% in Comparisson to the Euro.

Its a Clear Sign as to where the Companies will go with their Money. :)

Well. German Car Industry will be       . ^^
They just lost a Big Market. And they had enough other Problems Lately.
But well they.ll Survive it. They just Sacked the Top Ranks of World Wide Industry after all :D
So they got a bit of Buffer to Fall back on.

How, exactly, do you own yourself any more now than you did before?

Financial Armageddon won't happen this week. Markets will stabilise as the news is digested. It is likely Europe will start to fragment further now there's been a precedent set, which will lead to further instability. None of this is good news for the UK in the longer term. We may not starve, but we won't b feasting quite so much either.

Too Late.

Nah, it's just a beginning. And anyone who think he is living inside the UK and can made money out of it going to be disappointed. They can't eat the money...
If the economy crashes the prices are up. even at best they can only win as much what they lose with the price increase.

What a glorious result. Junker, Shultz, Merkel and Rompuplboper or whatever is stupid name is can taste real democracy.. Finally.. out of the EU, I've been working on this for decades. :D

I think I'll celebrate with a liquid Brexfast :p [haha] My gold and currency investments are doing very nicely [big grin]

Well... I hope you like the taste of gold. :D

Anway, to a scotish vote leave, so they can enter to the EU without the Rest of UK at least strategically makes sense. shrt term bumpy, but in long term they got what they wanted.

I find it extremely amusing. Scotland votes to stay. UK others vote to leave. Will this mean another opportunity for Scotland to vote for independence within the EU and outwith the UK?

Strange times indeed!

Northern Ireland as well, certainly interesting times. At least this'll give me a kick up the ass to move. I've got no desire to live in this country any more.

Since we're now in the "Negative-ten year club" we can support them with looooooooots of Subventions :p

Also Frankfurt and Berlin will really prosper from the Brexit so...

The even Bigger thing is.

Last Time the Eu Supported Scottland Staying as part of the UK.

This Time EU will likely Support Scottland and North Ireland Independence.

One of the Biggest Risks for Scottland and North Ireland are also Gone.
As Britain is no longer part of the EU:
If Scottland and North Ireland Leave. They will be Accepted for Sure. As there is no Angry UK Which could Veto them from Joining.

Shocker! Hats off to United Kingdom. Choosing the unknown. Very, very brave.

Europe needs a rethink. Denmark will follow shortly hopefully.

Thank you.

Also if Scotland, Wales and North Ireland (and maybe Cornwall), the states who profit the most from the EU, should go independent, then the UK (or better England) is suddenly not the fifth biggest economy anymore. :)

Wont happen ^^
This will get Ugly in the next few Months.
If Britain really Requests to Leave the EU.

The EU has no Choice.
They will Crush UK Economically by Cutting them Off from the Market. Or Demand an Incredible Prize and Full Obedience in exchange for Access to it.

Brussels has to Safe Face now.
Its Do or Die for the EU.
Either they stay Hard in the Negotiations and thus Crush the UK (by Forcing Obedience or Refusing them Access to the Market). Or the EU will Crumble.

Take a Guess what its going to be ^^
I would Guess the EU wont sign its own Death Sentence. So the UK will serve as an Example as to why its an very Bad Idea to Leave the EU.

To be Honest.
I think it wont be the Fifth Biggest Anymore next Year even if they were to Stay.

France is Short behind them.
And UK will take an real Heavy Loss now.
I would assume by End of 2017 its going to be on 6th Place.

This is a sad day.

I am wondering what is going on in this world, right now.

Hatespeech from a candidate for the American presidentship.
In Poland the right wing government undermines freedom rights.
In Turkey a religious thug strikes out against secularism and human rights.
In France Mm. Le Pen and her 'Front National' are preaching "France first!"
In Germany the AfD tries to rewind the wheel 40 years, closing the country for immigrants and refugees and asks for movies that are capable to "induce national pride".
...
And in Great Britain, the demagoges have won with their campaign against "foreigners" and pro self-reference.

The EU was never just an economic union, even if many people see it as such. The idea was way larger than this - and more important.
Where is this all heading? Not in a good direction, this is for sure!

Truely a sad day! And I am not very optimistic about the days to come...

Mark my words. You worry too much. UK is by no means alone in the general distrust in the direction present day EU is heading. I believe many countries will follow. EU should be about independent nations collaborating, not central government.

In my opinion this Brexit spells death to the EU as we know it. It will have to be rethought, and will be better for it. It will take time, and uncertainty is never fun, but Europe will be a better place for it.

See? :D Safe bet.

There is no IMHO (where is a good piece of wishful thinking) from my part right now. the UK are either going to be crushed, and humiliated, or the EU falls apart.

Europe is a better place without the EU?

I guess we found another one without any basic economic understanding whatsoever.
Like the majority over there in the UK. :)

Yup. This will gonna be from the part of EU. Let's hope the price is not going to be too high, which all of us going to pay.

Edit; And let's hope the current leadership of the Eu can grow balls pretty fast, because by the look of it, they don't have the guts for such negotiation, and drastic measures big changes in haste or can find someone who have it.

Mark my words too: if you dream of the stars you will go nowhere unless you aren't one Nation.
The EU isn't perfect at all, but to reach the stars it is to go much further than it is today.

Brexit is a clear step back because nationalism is en vogue today but will bring you nothing but isolation.

Regards,
Miklos
