Probes relay data somewhere, so this thing should also point somewhere. Or atleast interact with a UA.

No morse, and no lighting of the seven markings, it seems. But we need a longer recording, without Domm chaffing!
Anyway, this one is even creepier than the UA, there is a background "roar" that is... scary....
Well... at least I had my landing gear down.
My PR says I should claim the chaff was "celebratory"
Without further information this is pure speculation.
1. This is an immature form of the UA. perhaps the travelling form, that sheds part of the shell to reveal the "mechanical" parts when it reaches a suitable system.
2. This is the mature form of the UA, the "mechanical" part is discarded and the UA proceeds to "bud" a new UA that leaves and finds a system to inhabit.
3. This is the mated form of the UA, two UAs fuse to form the two headed version, the mechanical parts are then absorbed or discarded, this may be a precursor to a new form.
Whatever the answer, we are definitely entering a new phase.
