As usual with a story I like, I read this one twice. First time, I just take it at face-value. Second time, I apply what I know about the characters' history, background and motivations. Knowing Kyndi's, that last scene really brings out the depth of her character - it's slow-burning and very clever writing. Well done, Mister Lehman
