Guys! And girls too, of course!
The night of 23/24 May, there's a new meteor shower to see and it might be huge! Predictions range from 100 to 400 meteors an hour (normal big showers have 60 at max), which would be awesome.
So if it's not cloudy where you live, don't miss this, if we're lucky it might be something you only see once in your life!

As ever forecast for cloud. Which is just flippin' typical.
 
On the max is better than seven hours before but I just saw a meteor anyway. :)

Edit: seems the peak is indeed short and I just got lucky. Our American brethren and sistren will have better luck. Oh well.

Where I am at here in the states, there's too much cloud cover to even see anything in the sky. Sad night for me, i was looking forward to it. :(

I feel your pain, I've missed a lot more meteor showers due to bad weather than I've seen them. :-\
