ion Distributor?

Hi,

I have a mission that on completion gives 4 x Ion Distributor.:S

Which engineer requires them please?

Hi,

Thanks for the links and the advice.

However that site only lists all the engineers and their upgrades and that would take a lot of time rooting through all the possibilities.8-((

I'd rather be playing ED as I have the distributors and just wanted to know who needed them.

I have the exel layout but it doesn't list them anywhere.8-((

OK, this is a more detailed step-by-step hand guided how to :

1) with your web browser, go to : "http://inara.cz/galaxy-engineers"

2) Click on "components"

3) Click on Ion distributor

4) Select the blueprint you want, let's say "reinforced shields" (I love those)

5) Scroll down to level 5 (you want the best of the best for your ship, don't ya ?)

6) Then read : it says : "Engineers : Lei Cheung"

This is the engineer you need.

If you're lost again, feel free to ask :)

This ^, if you need some spare ones let me know, I got tons of them.

ok - what I want to know is are you guys been running around with these in your cargo hold ? Taking up room? And I'm speaking of the mission rewards stuff that sits in the main cargo area.

The way I do it when I want to upgrade :
1) Check what I need vs what I already have
2) Find the missing parts *except* what I can get on the market (this includes mission rewards only commodities)
3) buy the market commodities I need (if any)
4) Visit the engineer and upgrade

Once I got all the mats running, I usually got a grade five upgrade (and even several of them, so I can improve the RNG results) in one evening.
Not that hard.

Ion Distributor.

Hi,

Thanks very much for telling me how to find the engineer.:D

I had nearly got there, I had not realised I needed to check the blueprint.[redface]

So Leo, back to my original question, "vs what I already have." Since there are no hangers, shipping container, etc. You're running around doing X with a load of items in your ships cargo hold until such time as you have all of what you're looking for or decide otherwise that you want to run a MOD.

Point being they're taking up cargo space that could be used for real, mission cargo. I've just been selling the stuff as I don't want it hangin around in my cargo hold. Wanted to know if that was accurate and it would seem so.

I can't speak for Leo but, I would guess that yes. It's what I do, I get rid of them when I need to(need cargo room, need to switch ships, want to RES in peace, not gonna chase an engineer for a while), otherwise I hang onto them because they don't do any harm.
