Hello Cmdrs!
With the recent addition of Horizons I feel I've been able to appreciate the size and scale of the game better which helps tremendously with my immersion in the game. Being able to land on a planetoid then drive around your ship is fantastic.
But one addition to the gameplay that would imho greaten this, would be the option to leave your ship using a jetpack. Star Citizen does this and it seems to add much to the gameplay options. You would have an air supply and fuel for thrusters, but this would be fun for salvage in deep space or for further exploration on the planet surface.
Has this addition ever been mentioned or hinted at by FD? I know there are plans for actually walking around your ship etc but surely the ability to moon walk and leave your ship would be much more fun and give us lots more options of things to do in the game.
