Also my name-change is only shown as being requested. It hasn't updated at the top of the page. Does that mean that my choice has to be verified or has the system hung?

He's been promoted from washing Michael's car and buying the garibaldis to verifying the Cmdr names. It's a thankless job, but at least they let him out every second Tuesday if the month has a Y in it.

When I log into the site in the OP, it tells me "Welcome back, Commander Zootlewurdle", which is the name I requested in the original pledge reward.
So is this more for Alphas to change their name to what they wanted form the number I believe they've been identified with thus far?

How do you plan to counter fraud sites when users are already accustomed to non-associated domain names?
Heck, even a stupid 302 - but from the official E: D site - to these sites would be better than just kicking us directly into foreign hands.
Imagine a leak/hack from a forum mod account and someone adds a mod post which asks users to login into some site and post their credentials there! It's easy to do and the impact on the userbase would be massive.
