That's easy for you to say.
I can't speak for Frontier, but as far as I understand it, yes, names have to be verified. Poor Ashley.
He's been promoted from washing Michael's car and buying the garibaldis to verifying the Cmdr names. It's a thankless job, but at least they let him out every second Tuesday if the month has a Y in it.
wonder how long before my name will change from the numbers i have become acustom too seeing.

And making a domain lookup is nothing I would be of sure my parents are capable of.

No problem, there are quite a few of us techy types around and anything "dodgy" would, I think, get noticed very quickly.

When I log into the site in the OP, it tells me "Welcome back, Commander Zootlewurdle", which is the name I requested in the original pledge reward.
So is this more for Alphas to change their name to what they wanted form the number I believe they've been identified with thus far?
Also interesting to note it says I have 1501000 credits

your a premium beta backer and already chosen your name? was this from the kick starter days?
I assume so because I've also got my reserved name from the KS times on that page and wondered if there is something I have to do
