Commander names for sale?

If they have been denied, it will have been for legal (e.g. trademark) or moral (swearwords, etc.) reasons. So why would they then allow them, even for money?
Even if you were to clarify the poll to simply "Would you buy a commander name?" I would still say no. When it comes to merchandise and MT you have to draw the line somewhere and that might have just crossed it.
I have to agree. As much as I want micro-transactions for cosmetic stuff, even I would not want commander names to be bought and sold.
This is perhaps the first time I have seen a resounding answer to a poll.

David is not for sale. The proof ? He refused to be dependent on a publisher for the game

Surely the only ones denied would be the ones that go against the rules for the names.
Yet floated the company on the stockmarket. Which is just as bad. Shareholders!. Shudder.

I'm confused - So, are you saying you started the poll because you thought it was a bad idea?
I'm not worried about anyone wanting to buy my name because I couldn't think of anything really interesting and creative so just used my regular surname because even my forum username is I think pretty horrible.

I also thought about that but I preferred to say nothing. And David declared that the development of the game is sanctuarized and that shareholders can not interfere on the development
