Interesting discussion. It just prompted me to order a T-16000m
Oh okay in that case it does sounds like you have hardware issues unfortunately.Many thanks SpectralMeat for the prompt reply. What you say is certainly possible. However, I just downloaded Oolite (an original Elite clone - excellent btw) and similar behaviour is exhibited in that the throttle will only allow a 50% maximum setting which, to me, suggests the possibility of a hardware issue. Also the joystick Windows Control Panel displays similarly imperfect throttle axis issues. I'd like to be able to reset the auto-configuration and start from scratch without drivers. I still hope to hear from other T-Flight users.
Thanks again!
I've ordered the T Flight Hotas. Looks great value!
I am unfortunately a lefty too but I'll be able to use either hand.
I wonder if anyone has a setup with two T.16000M's? One for each hand...

decided to go for full HOTAS bought Warthog. What the hell you only live once
Just joined the premium beta and have been playing the combat scenarios with M&KB. This is working fine after a bit of practice but have just ordered a Thrustmaster T16000 - only choice if you are left handed. Problem is now getting hold of a right handed throttle. I really don't think there are any out there.

I thought you were only having trouble in Elite Dangerous.
@SpectralMeat
Turns out that the problem I was having with the T-Flight throttle was indeed hardware, as the replacement works fine.
Now I have an issue getting it to work happily with my ED-Tracker (which works fine with my Xbox pad), but that's a job for another thread methinks![]()
We may not need another thread. If you're a private beta backer, then you're currently limited to flying in alpha 1.1. This build only supports one game controller at a time. The EDtracker and T-Flight combo should work just fine in the beta on Thursday.
