I've had a lot of coffee. My trigger finger is twitchy.
A couple of quick questions.
I'm a beta backer so have not seen how names are used in the multiplayer game. Are forenames allowed? If so how many? And will a player always be displayed as 'Commander <surname>'. E.g. if 'John James Smith' is allowed, would you show-up as Commander Smith by default, or would the full name always be displayed.
Secondly, can we change name again in the future, or is this a one-off chance to alter the name already provided after the KS campaign.

My reserved name is forename, middle name, and surname - and I'd think the whole name would be displayed.
As for your second query - no idea.
Someone already thought of Commander Commander and had to change their chosen Cmdr name, I think he settled for something Latin, I can't remember.

If you listen to some of the early Lave Radio podcasts Ashley said there was a Commander Commander already. I have no idea who that is, or even if they later said "actually, that was a mistake."
There was a good joke in TV MASH where various Majors introduced each other, leading to something like:

Not sure if I want to change my name that I got accepted in the kickstarter/backers app days .. but it probably wouldn't hurt as I can't (and have never have) see
You can't reserve a second name. If you request a new one it will replace your original one, unless you buy a second version of the game I guess.
