ANNOUNCEMENT Commander Names

Nice to see this is finally up and running for the post-Kickstarter backers.
On a tangentially related note, I reserved three commander names. The first was granted as a Kickstarter reward and is now associated with my alpha account, and the other two were reserved at £15 each in the time-limited post-Kickstarter store. All three were paid for using the same credit card but using different e-mail addresses at the same domain.
Will it be possible, either during the beta/gamma phases or when the full game goes live, to "merge" these names into my main account so they become available for use in my three "save slots"? Or will I have to buy two additional copies of the game (licences) in order to use the two additional reserved names?
I've no objection if it's the latter, but it would certainly be easier if they were all available on one login (and could all take advantage of the additional ships and start locations from the Kickstarter
)

Not sure if I want to change my name that I got accepted in the kickstarter/backers app days .. but it probably wouldn't hurt as I can't (and have never have) see anyone using the name "Luniticisi" maybe reserving another name might be good ... Hmmmmm:S

And of course every domain registrar checks that you supply valid information when registering a new domain. Add in that there are very cheap (and nefarious types may use stolen credit card details to set up a domain and its SSL cert)/free sources of SSL certs and the OP for this concern does raise a valid point. FD would do very well to at least very clearly link to all the 'funny' names on http://elite.frontier.co.uk/ , although that needs to be HTTPS as well and preferably some form of 'extended validation' certificate on all the domains.
Anyway, I'm happy I still have my preferred commander name reserved, no changing here

My commander name is my actual name, so I think I should be changing it (although I am reluctant to).

Excellent to have a application of support of the game It's always nice to discover of new screens and of course it will be very useful
