As much as I am for the Empire, and against the feds expanding into the Pleiades, the thoughts, views, and actions of the 13th Legion does not reflect how everyone in the empire feels about this CG. I say we let them expand, then flip the station to the Empire. Slightly less bloodshed and more way fun than killing Pilots who don't want to deal with PVP/ don't have the skill. (which is like kicking a sick puppy because you were promised a cookie if you did it.)

The 13th Legion is not the Imperial Navy. Legion members hail from federal and imperial navies (auxiliary, reserve, guard, whatever fits the lore) or independent.

Another terrorist group in budding, another group of "moral" superiors wanting to "stand up" for the people.. Where have I heard that before ?
"Justice" bought by the blood of innocents. In all of these "noble" causes it always the innocents that do the dying for some irrelevant splinter groups sick and perverted beliefs, that most be imposed on everyone.

Fact is that this rogue group now threatens actions direct against the Federation, not a faction mind you, but the Federation as whole - I am confident that this will have serious consequences when the news spreads in Empire and to the Empress/Emperor, that your group wants to instigate full open hot war between Empire and Federation, breaking a fragile but prosperous peace between the two Superpowers. I cant see that happening just yet.
You will get disowned and punished by your Emperor for this, other imperial factions will distance themselves from this folly, as it harms their interests too. The Empire has never accepted idiocy.
I am sure the Alliance also will not look kindly on this either, because terrorism is despicable to all law abiding citizens of the galaxy. There has been a tacit understanding that peace must be kept, I think there still is.
I believe there is already a call out for volunteer non aligned militia, or it will come soon that WILL stop this madness, before we have a war we do not want.

I can understand people roleplaying to a point, but i think some do take it too far and too seriously.
This is a video game, and the simple fact is that it does not lend itself well to roleplay, the idea of blockades for example is just not possible, how can they be in a game with sole and private groups to use just sail past them, even in open it is unlikely to be in the same instance most of the time. And you can argue the solo\group mode is unfair all you want, but truth is, it will stay if FD choose it to.
So can we please stop with the "all pilots will be destroyed entering x region" dialogue. (just gets personally annoying)

I always though of the imperials as being very class based, hence the indebted servitude for the poor. When faced with this kind of class based system history teaches us that a former slave with no breeding of any recognition and a past as a debt slave would make it almost impossible to get to any officer rank in the Imp. Navy. Yet you expect me to believe that an oik with no upbringing or grasp of etiquette would somehow rise to be in charge of the entire Imp. Navy...

So, in essence, you are conducting a completely unauthorized and illegal operation abusing the name and authority of the Emperor, operation which could bring the Empire into a devastating war with the Federation. Whatever we might think of the Empire, it is unconceivable that any nation can allow such a thing to happen. You should therefore expect soon the real Imperial Navy to deliver you the requested guidance from the Emperor - which will very likely come in the form of a firing squad.
What you Imperials don't seem to understand due to your paranoia is nothing that the Federation is doing will choke off the supply of meta alloys. You can fly in, fill your hold, and fly out. And as the 13th has shown, blockades are not effective at all. If a Federal battlecruiser starts to shoot you and you don't want to be shot up, hit the boost, wait a moment and hit the boost again. And the Federation isn't building stations that are flippable. They are building listening outposts. And the vessels are there to keep an eye on the sector. Because whatever built the UAs is coming for us. All of us. The only faction making any moves to allow for warning of the inevitable war that is coming our way is the Federation. And the paranoid Empire trembles at listening outposts and a few vessels which are of absolutely no threat to the Empire. It would take years of attrition warfare for the Federation to do any sort of lasting damage to the Empire. If you Imperials think we're looking to attack you you're fools. And if you think hoarding meta alloys is the goal again, you're fools. Keep watching us and keep ignoring the fact that They are watching us all, scanning us all, and in the end they will come for us all. I'll always hate the Empire for what they did to Marlin, but that hate isn't enough to let humanity get exterminated by the UA builders.
This could actually work as emergent content were the Empire to publicly condemn the 13th Legion as terrorist fanatics.

You'd be surprised. Along with the usual 'Richard Sharpe Lite' RPG trope a lot of the Imperial playerbase have built their RP characters on, there is support for it in one of the books (Reclamation), where one of the characters (Dalk) goes from being a outsider of the Empire to a respected Patron during the period where his planet is occupied by them.

According to the RP logic of the 13th Legion, I could say that I'm the son of the emporer, and therefore have some small claim on the throne, but I don't want it. Instead I chose to fly around space like a hobo and do odd-jobs to support my addiction to antiquing. Also I have laser eyes that will instantly melt the skull of anyone 12 kilometers away. I also like to sniff my own socks.
