Just watched a video where the guy was using voice control to activate things on his ship. Is that going to be in the final version and what do you need to be able to use it, will any microphone do? This looks like an awesome feature. Wow.

its external free software, Voice Attack. Not part of the game itself.

I'm not playing the game at all yet so I'd suggest you try to contact PirateCaptainO (it's his video), try to persuade him to make a tutorial, because he really seems to have it down .. It looks like he's mapping macros, ie. combinations of commands, and not only simple single button pushes.

and yes, it seems a microphone is in order, but this looks like a must have feature to me ...

Free to test .. pretty cheap to buy

Very impressed with voice attack. Became a core part of my controls within minutes. Never makes mistakes for me, responds quickly and causes no noticeable performance hit. Of course, it will also make anyone around you think you're a complete space cadet too ...

I bought this a few days ago and I can't recommend it enough!

One question, though, if anyone knows:

Can I install my purchased copy on multiple computers?

I tried the developer's own support forum, but they use that awful Google Groups thing and it seems to have eaten my post.
