You know you're hooked when...

It's 11:30 at night. You have to be up at 6:30 to go to work. You think... just a quick go on ED.

2 hours later your thinking. '"I can manage on 5 hour sleep ..." :)

... you join a thread for a quick conversation and several hundred posts later you're still going round in circles.

Sometimes I hate this place!

You are 15 years old and have to cover the red led on the corner of your Commodore 64 with a sock so your mum doesn't see it has been left on whilst you are at school and turn it off.

Man, same exact thing as you. Come home at 11pm last night and figure to give one go at finally beating Incursion through all 10 levels after failing to do so for this whole week and finally beat it... at 2am... :p Thankfully it is a slow day at work.

PS: You know you are hooked when you want to buy a $180 TrackIR without having ANY other use for it other than ED.

Love that! Oh happy memories - only it was missus in my case (and I wasn't 15) :D

Forgive my ignorance but I'm intrigued now. Why was it necessary to leave the computer on whilst being at school? Was it the loading time or something else? My first computer was an Atari ST.

I'm hooked all right. 5-6 hours sleep a night, if I'm lucky. I also read the forums at work.
