Eh, don't buy it, plenty of makers out there creating powerful laptops at affordable prices, though laptops are poor gaming pc's if you ask me, unless you are on the go a LOT
Otherwise just get yourself a desktop pc, costs less for a lot more power.

I've not checked recently, but Sony sold off the Vaio brand a while back when they got out of laptops as being unprofitable.
